DVR

I finally ordered a DVR from Adelphia today. It's 9 bucks a month and comes with 50 hours of recording space. I figure I'll give it a try and see how I like it before I commit to purchasing something else like a Tivo. Personally I wish Apple would produce a Tivo killer product for the living room that will also rip DVD's. Come on Steve, I know you're listening! Front Row just doesn't cut it.

Hey cool, let me know how you like it. Rika is always forgetting to tape her shows. Only negative I see is that I only have basic cable (about 18 channels) and I would probably have to upgrade to digital.

Dave if you have a real TiVo (specifically a Series 2) DVR then you can use the new TiVoToGo feature to transfer your tivo content to your computer for burning onto DVD's.

Rob, I get the DVR installed tomorrow. I'll let you know how it is.
