Aaaahh, Lara!

Well, I'm not one who was much of a fan of the Tomb Raider series, but for some odd reason, I decided I would try out Legend, the latest in the Lara Croft series. The game, though hyped so much in the past, was never my type of game. It just never caught my attention, and frankly, I always thought it was boring, even though I never played it before.

But today is another story. While I'm still not a big TR fan, I have to admit that I am glad I decided to try out Legend. The graphics are top notch, though the big heads on people, yes, to me they have oversized heads, which is an odd and almost scary look and feel, are not as bothersome as you continue to play the game. I was able to put away that prejudice after a few minutes of learning how to control Lara.

Though I have just started playing the game, only finishing the first few sequences, it is a refreshing difference from the normal games that I play. I like the story so far, and after learning the movements, timing and such, I look forward to completing Legend.

After I play a bit more, or after I finish the game, I'll try to give a little more detail as to what I liked and didn't like. Till then, game on!

I was thinking about getting this game myself but didn't yet because I still have yet to install COD2. I was a fan of the original because at the time the graphics were really good and I liked the puzzles. Never really played the sequels. I understand that Legend has a high end graphical mode that is different from what you see in the demo so right now I can't see it in its full graphical glory.
