Mystery Beast Killed
This story is all over the news right now but sounds like it came straight from the X-Files. Apparently some hybrid mutant beast was hit by a car and killed this past weekend. Interesting that they don't know what it is. Probably the best site with the most pictures of it is shown here, but just do a google search for "Turner, Maine beast" and you will come up with quite a few hits.MSNBC

First off, I'm back and read yer other post of Supes is no longer anywhere. :( Bummer.
Secondly, I think it is a dog/wolf hybrid, but of a very old mix, which may explain why the dna doesn't show conclusive evidence of the hybrid.
After all, if people have been reporting it since '91-ish, that doesn't mean it hasn't been around breeding many years before that, it just means it wandered that far into civilization at that time.
In any case, whatever it is, never before seen species, it's cool to see things that can't be explained in our modern era! Anyone consider it might be an ancient species that scientists have declared extinct and are not willing to say so because it would defy evolutionary and old earth theories? Something to think about...
