Microsoft Kills trueSpace

This report is over three months old (I've been off the grid!) but Microsoft has killed off all support and development of trueSpace after acquiring the company just 15 months earlier. You can read a May 2009 letter from the founder of trueSpace, Roman Ormandy, here.

Microsoft really doesn't seem to have any sort of plan of what they want their company to be. Who are the tech visionaries there, Ballmer?

Thats sad to hear, although unfortunately not unexpected coming from Microsoft. I will always remember your Greek vase and the groundbreaking UI.

R.I.P. TrueSpace.
