Paintings from the 7th Guest

(L) Monastery Graveyard in the Snow, (R) The 7th Guest

While taking an art history class in college, I noticed a painting in one of my books that looked vaguely familiar. After a minute, it hit me -"The 7th Guest!"

The painting is from the German 19th-century landscape artist, Caspar David Friedrich and is appropriately titled "Monastery Graveyard in the Snow". Unfortunately the original painting was destroyed in an air bombing raid during WWII but it's good to know that the B/W photograph lives on in supernatural, multimedia CD-ROM based video games.
