Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
Thanks to Kruddler for signing us in to Disneyland last Tuesday- it was fun! One of the highlights was visiting the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction and having my brother Mark show us the 4th dimension wall markings in the basement area. Clearly inspired from the Twilight Zone episode titled Little Girl Lost, where a little girl falls out of bed and disappears into the "Fourth Dimension" and only her cries for help can be heard emanating from the room. Apparently the same audio recordings can be heard from behind the wall at the attraction, but it didn't seem to be playing at the time I was there. Would be pretty creepy to hear that the next time I visit though.
Like several items decorated throughout the attraction, the tiny toy robot photographed on top of the cabinet in the TV room is a replica from a prop used in a popular season 2 episode called The Invaders.

I discovered that a toy company had recently produced a limited edition toy based on the prop and thought Disney used this for the two TV rooms, but on closer inspection, it differs slightly from the replica found in the

Another great blog. I just found out via your links that my favorite sci-fi writer, Richard Matheson wrote the Invaders as well as Little Girl Lost. Future blog on that coming up...
